Request Types

A lien satisfaction (a.k.a. lien release letter) is a legal document from your lender indicating that the vehicle loan has been paid in full, thus allowing the state to release the lien listed on your title. It is used when you have misplaced the original title/lien satisfaction and the DMV still has a recorded lien against the title. A lien satisfaction can be taken to a local DMV where you can apply for a new title without the lien.

Either the party that paid off the loan with the lender, or someone that has legally taken possession of the vehicle and can provide legal documentation, such as a bill of sale from the payoff party.

     • State where vehicle titled

No. We can fax you a copy of your lien satisfaction letter but at this time we do not e-mail copies of lien satisfaction letters. 

The types of acceptable payment are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal.

If technical problems prevent or unreasonably delay delivery of your order, your exclusive and sole remedy is refund of the price paid. By submitting and confirming your order you agree to pay the fees as listed. Once your order has been submitted PDP will send you an e-mail notice confirming your order. The total cost of the order will be billed to the credit card, debit card or PayPal account you authorize at time of check-out, your account will be billed on the day you submit your order. In the event you want to cancel your order, you can on the Check Order page on or by contacting Support. Your order will remain in effect until it is canceled (by you), completed and processed by PDP, or is deemed unable to be fulfilled by PDP. If an order is canceled after being submitted to PDP, certain fees incurred by PDP will not be refundable and these non-refundable fees will depend on the time that has lapsed since the order was first placed and the state of your order. Refunds amounts will be at the sole discretion of PDP. In the event that PDP deems your order is unable to be fulfilled a total refund will be issued to account in which the order was originally charged.
